Dentures are a well-liked option for replacing missing teeth and one of the oldest forms of treatment. A person's speech, food chewing, and aesthetic appeal are all improved by dentures. Dentures that are either removable partials or completes can be made, depending on the number of teeth that need to be replaced.
Dental Partitions: when the upper or lower jaw still has one or more natural teeth. Full dentures: When a jaw has lost all of its teeth and needs to be replaced with prosthetics, you should not make the decision on your own: The kind of dentures you need is mostly determined by the state of your existing teeth, jaws, gums, and overall oral hygiene and upkeep.
Healthy habits last a lifetime, and children who do not receive adequate dental education and care run the risk of developing tooth decay, which can cause pain and anxiety for a lifetime. As a result, imparting knowledge early may prevent complications.
The following are key components of pediatric dentistry:
counseling and educating parents so that oral health care and exams can be started early and the risk of tooth decay is reduced.
A child's teeth can be protected by important preventative measures like fluoride and sealant treatments, as well as recommendations for healthy eating and nutrition.
The child's dental health can be assessed and evaluated on an ongoing basis so that major issues and problems can be treated early, such as counseling for thumb sucking and finger chewing, both of which can cause teeth to become out of alignment.
Dental implants are currently the most common and ideal option for replacing missing teeth. Over the course of the past quarter century or so, they have had a significant impact on dentistry. As an implant-supported bridge or an implant-supported overdenture for the entire mouth, dental implants can be used to replace a single missing tooth.
The advantage of implant-supported crowns and dentures is that they do not shift or slip while speaking or eating. They prevent natural bone loss, feel more natural, and are also more comfortable.
Their success is determined by the quantity and quality of the bone available. Additionally, the final restoration that is affixed to the implant has a significant effect.
Whitening your teeth is a simple process. Bleaches for teeth whitening aid in the breakdown of stains, resulting in whiter teeth. Stains can be either intrinsic or extrinsic in nature.
Compared to intrinsic stains caused by fluoride, tetracycline, or even pulpal damage, which may require prolonged sitting to achieve desired results, extrinsic stains caused by drinking coffee, smoking, or certain foodstuffs respond better to teeth whitening.
Option at the office: Utilizing light and a gel to accelerate and improve the bleaching process.
Whitening teeth has the potential to cause gingival inflammation and tooth sensitivity. Take care when selecting your shade, and many people opt for traditional pearl white teeth for a naturally healthy and attractive smile.
Your physician will always be happy to assist you in selecting a shade.
Pain is the most common reason for a patient to see a dentist. Dental caries is the most common cause of pain, but there are other causes as well. Dental fillings typically treat caries that aren't too deep but cause sensitivity. However, what if it has penetrated too deeply for filling to seal? This can be solved by us.
The treatment of a root canal assists in removing bacteria from the infected root canal, preventing the tooth from becoming infected again, and saving the natural tooth. The decayed and infected part must be taken out, the canal must be cleaned, the canal must be filled with the right medications, and then the crown must be put in.
We offer treatments that help you get a better smile and make your teeth work better.
Dental neglect during adolescence frequently results in misaligned teeth, which are unattractive when an adult enters college or the workforce. These misaligned patterns of teeth frequently include functional discrepancies, crowding, crooked teeth, and spacing between teeth, all of which could be a reason not to smile as often and could cause anxiety or low self-confidence. Correcting your teeth's position can help you feel more confident and help you function normally because it can affect how your face looks and shapes.
Orthodontic treatment helps put the teeth in the right position, which not only improves their appearance but also makes them work better. An orthodontist is a specialist who carries out this treatment. Malaligned teeth can be the result of a variety of childhood behaviors like nail/lip biting, tongue thrusting, or other factors like finger sucking, a small jaw size, or trauma. Some people may be able to benefit from the more recent mini-braces, which are much smaller than traditional braces because traditional braces have the disadvantage of giving off an unattractive appearance. Another option for straightening teeth are plastic retainers that can be taken off. This may also work if your teeth aren't too crowded.
The process of restoring the function, shape, and structure of a decayed tooth structure—also known as a dental filling—caused by caries or trauma is known as a dental restoration.
The chemical bond that tooth-colored restorations, also known as composite restorations, make to the tooth surface replicates the natural color, shape, and function of the tooth. The strength of these fillings is comparable to that of a cavity-free, healthy tooth.
Gold, silver, and amalgam have all been phased out of use as dental filling materials for a variety of reasons. Nowadays, tooth-colored restorations like composites and filling material made of glass ionomers are frequently used for filling teeth.
Keep in mind that depending on the location, extent, and state of your oral hygiene, we can assist you in selecting the ideal filling material.

Today’s topic is the result of inadequate and improper use of antibiotics by Dr Barun Kant who is a dentist in Ranchi at Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk).
There are several side effects of improper and inadequate use of antibiotics including gastrointestinal, neurological, haematological and dermatological. Most common problem includes antibioma which is chronic sterile, tough fibrous abscess formed commonly due to prolonged and inappropriate use of antibiotics for infections. Dentists in our dental clinic advise incision and drainage of abscess along with use of higher dose of antibiotics. Clinically, antibioma is seen as localized swelling which can be painful or painless along with smooth, non-tender and firm palpation. Most common history of antibioma patients present in our dental clinic is the presence of dental caries which are present for years. Patients take antibiotics to get rid of swelling and pain. But it recurs after sometime. This continues for years. Home remedies for antibioma include application of magnesium sulphate or Epsom salt along with glycerine. This reduces swelling drastically.
Dental treatment including extraction of root stump along with incision and drainage. Proper antibiotic coverage is very important both orally and intravenously. Follow up is a must. Amoxicillin alone or in combination with potassium clavulanate is given for resistant strain of bacteria. Dentists play a important role in treatment of antibioma in the maxillofacial region.

Today’s topic is explaining behaviour management significance in kids’ dental treatment by Dr Barun Kant who is a dentist in Ranchi at Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk).
Kids dental treatment can be challenging in some cases. Dentists in most cases are more concerned about behaviour management in kids rather than treatment alone. Reason behind is treatment while sitting on a dental chair is only managed by the dentist but the behaviour of a kid depends on communication with the dentist as well as the parent as well as dental clinic exposure to the kid. There are different behaviour management techniques mentioned throughout the globe but some techniques are universally accepted by dentists. Basically, there are two approaches present for behaviour management in kids are non-pharmacological and pharmacological techniques. Most dentists of course follow non pharmacological techniques for behaviour management in kids. Parents are also an important factor and I believe that during dental treatment the parent must always be away from the kid as it becomes difficult for the dentist to treat the kid in front of the parent.
Common dental treatments seen in kids include pulpectomy, pulpotomy, extraction, fluoride application for preventing dental cavity and preventive orthodontic treatment. Tell, show and do is the most common approach by the dentist along with voice control, reinforcement and if required physical restraint is done for behaviour management of kid in dental clinic.

Today’s topic is digital impressions for dental implants by Dr Barun Kant who is a dentist in Ranchi at Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk).
Dental implant is now considered the best approach for replacing missing teeth wherever possible. Impression techniques for fabrication of teeth is an important step in implant retained or implant supported prosthesis. Impression made manually using either closed tray for one or two teeth and open tray for impression of multiple teeth in implant retained prosthesis is manual technique for impression of dental implant. Certain drawbacks of manual impression include techniques for making impression, cost of polyvinyl siloxane, disinfectant to be used, gag reflex while taking maxillary impression and clinical time involved for pouring of cast.
To avoid the above-mentioned problem digital impressions come into existence. There are two types of digital impressions taken by dentists. First approach is by spreading Sulphur powder in the teeth and surrounding mucosa. Problem with this technique is difficulty faced by contamination of saliva while impression making. Second technique is by directly scanning the intraoral view of teeth and gums. This is by far the most successful technique for making an impression in implant retained prosthesis. Fim x-ray replaced by digital x-ray, hydraulic dental chair by electric chair likewise manual impression will definitely be replaced by digital impression. Precision and time saving are advantages of it.

Today’s topic is Clear Aligner, a way to eliminate social stigma of fixed orthodontics by Dr Barun Kant who is a dentist in Ranchi at Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk).
Clear aligner is transparent plastic like material that is active and removable in nature. It can be worn for at least 22 hours a day. Aligners are to be changed every 14 days interval till desired result obtained. But the maximum pressure felt by the patient in the first 7 days. So, some patients escape the remaining 7 days and jump to the next aligner which creates difficulty in orthodontic tooth movement. It eliminates drawbacks of fixed orthodontics like ulcers due to orthodontic wire, unpleasant look, difficulty in maintaining proper oral hygiene, root resorption due to uncontrolled force etc. Pioneers in clear aligner therapy goes to Invisalign. Others preferred by orthodontist Ranchi include Clear Correct, Clear Smile and Simpli5.
Clear aligner is nowadays made digitally by intraoral scanner or scanning cast. Orthodontic treatment time is predicted by aligner therapy. Special consideration should always be focused on the occlusal plane as the teeth are out of contact during treatment. Clear aligners can treat mild to moderate malocclusion effectively. Materials used previously are divided into 1st generation using monophasic material, 2nd generation using polyurethane material and 3rd generation using multilayered polyurethane-like material. Retainers are to be worn after a clear aligner treatment.

Today’s topic is cost of dental treatment in dental clinics by Dr Barun Kant who is a dentist in Ranchi at Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). Owner of the dental chair in the dental clinic only can mention in detail about the cost of dental treatment. Dentists are specialized doctors for teeth. Cost of dental treatment is the one of the prime concerns for patients in need of a dentist. People usually enquire about dental treatment cost online on google or calling directly to dental clinics. Patients usually are more concerned about cost rather than treatment done by the dentist. Patients usually search for economical dental clinics, cheap dental clinics, affordable dental clinics etc to know about charges. But the best way to know dental treatment charges is to have dental consultation done at a dental clinic. Cost of consultation at our dental clinic is 300 rupees. Reason behind is unless a dentist knows your problem only then he can mention to you what type of treatment actually suits you. Some people usually think themselves smart enough to determine their diagnosis and directly ask about particular treatment. This approach does not always work out. For example, people while searching for dental implants enquires about dental transplant which creates confusion to the dentist. So as an owner of a dental clinic it's very difficult to mention the exact price of a particular dental treatment. Visit your dentist to get your dental treatment at affordable charges or try us.

Today’s topic is removal of wisdom tooth or third molar by our dentist in Ranchi Dr Barun Kant at Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). Here is an 18-year-old patient having pain in the lower right back region of the mouth in the last 2 days. Clinically gum overlying third molar got inflamed and the patient complained of extreme pain with limited mouth opening. Wisdom tooth is the last tooth to erupt in the oral cavity. These teeth usually erupt after 17 years of age. There is no correlation between a person’s wisdom and eruption of your wisdom teeth or third molar teeth. Nowadays proper eruption of third molar is not a common finding as seen a few decades ago. Reasons as stated are improper jaw bone development leading to inadequate space present for all permanent teeth. This leads to crowding of teeth usually of anterior teeth and impacted or third molar not erupted properly up to occlusal line. Dental pain along with inadequate mouth opening in some cases is a very common finding. This type of pain is usually recurrent in nature and occurs in a few months’ interval. Warm and sweet food and drink usually precipitate and enhance dental pain. Soft tissue or gums and hard tissue or bone covering the third molar are two conditions in impacted teeth. As a dentist after clinical evaluation, we advise dental x-ray. This helps in knowing the level of complexity during removal of wisdom teeth. Maxillofacial surgeon is a specialized doctor or dentist for removal of wisdom teeth.

Today’s topic is root canal treatment for dental cavity by dentist in Ranchi Dr Barun Kant at Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). Root canal treatment is three-dimensional dental filling done till apical portion of root for patient with dental cavity pain. Rct will be done in a single or twice appointment as depending on the situation. Specialized dental doctor for such treatment is an endodontist. There are multiple reasons for dental caries including improper brushing, crooked teeth, faulty dental fix teeth etc. Clinically there is depression present along with discoloration in teeth wherever the dental cavity is present. Rct is usually indicated in those patients who neglect dental problems for a longer period of time. Regular dental filling is sufficient if the dental cavity is filled in time. Advantage includes less cost of treatment, no pain during treatment and fast dental treatment as only simple dental filling will solve the problem. Cost of root canal treatment is 2500 rupees in our dental clinic. Apart from root canal treatment, dental crown or dental cap is also indicated. This acts as a barrier and provides protection to natural teeth which get damaged due to dental cavity. We dentists consider root canal treatment and dental crown as done together to get maximum benefits from such treatment done in the oral cavity. Dental crown or dental cap charges may vary from 2500, 3500, 5000 and 10000 rupees depending on durability, natural appearance, warranty etc.

Today’s topic is emergency dental treatment for palatal dental swelling by Dr Barun Kant who is a dentist in Ranchi at Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). Dental problems can sometimes be regarded as an emergency situation and immediate treatment is necessary. Here a patient with palatal swelling has come to our dental clinic. Her chief complaint was pain in maxillary arch and nasal discharge. On clinical examination we found a well circumscribed lesion measuring around 8mm*8mm. Palatal lesions are soft in nature. She already visited twice to the dentist where they aspirated creamy fluid from that palatal region. She approached us for the same dental problem. Oral hygiene is poor on the left side of the oral cavity. She reported swelling there for the past 2 to 3 years but pain started only a few weeks before. We asked the patient for dental x-rays like cbct and blood examination already she presented to us. Dental treatment planned is enucleation of cyst as clinical and radiographic examination confirm the same finding. Furthermore, we planned for biopsy for the type of cystic lesion present. Complete surgical procedure will be accompanied by a maxillofacial surgeon under general anaesthesia in hospital setup. As this case needs great attention so we regard such a case as emergency dental treatment. Along with surgical procedure dental extraction and root canal treatment or rct of teeth in proximity of lesion will be done. Finally, dentists fabricate & fix denture teeth.

Today’s topic is the myth and truth about dental implants in Ranchi by Dr Barun Kant Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). Myth about dental implants is that the metal portion placed in the oral cavity can rust. Dental patients think of it as a common screw that will be inserted in the mouth. Also, some think that it can be painful to have metal parts in the mouth. Dental implants are now emerging as the best treatment option by our dentist for replacement of missing teeth. But still there are a lot of myths present about dental implants. Some think that dental implant surgery can create a lot of problems. Also listening to the cost of dental implants they think it as costly dental treatment. And the last patient's belief that a dental implant is only done by a maxillofacial surgeon is false. Now to clarify myths and tell the truth about it is a necessity. Dental implant is made of titanium metal and considered as the most biocompatible metal for the human body. Being a dentist, we consider dental implant surgery as minor surgery even less than extraction or removal of teeth. Dental implant is always economical than conventional fixed partial denture when it comes to long term prognosis. Reason behind no cutting to adjacent natural teeth. Also, dental implants replace both the crown and root structure unlike conventional fpd which replaces only the crown of a natural tooth. So, our best dentist in Ranchi prefers dental implants when it comes to replacement of missing teeth

Today’s topic is problems created by faulty fixed partial dentures or dental prosthesis by Dr Barun Kant Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). Fixed partial denture or in short fpd is one of the techniques for replacement of missing tooth or multiple teeth. Other techniques are removable partial denture or rpd and dental implant. Advantage of conventional fpd include less time needed for fixing missing teeth or tooth, little bit economical and non-surgical dental procedure. Though dental implant is always superior to conventional fixed partial denture still conventional fpd is more acceptable in dental patients of Ranchi as our dentist have seen during practice. Problems created by faulty fixed partial dentures or dental prosthesis are not always created by dentists. Other factors may involve dental patients or lab technicians. That is why our dentist always examines the case thoroughly to know the exact reason for the fixed partial denture failure and problems created by it. Here is an intraoral view of a dental patient showing a gap between natural tooth and artificial tooth. Patient complaints include food lodgement and dull pain. Dental history has confirmed that dental prosthesis was fabricated 2 years back. Metal portions have been exposed on the occlusal surface as shown here. We informed patients about the gap present and took consent for removal of faulty fixed partial denture. Patient dental pain and discomfort reduced a lot afterward. Our dentist made a new fpd.

Today’s topic is treatment for dental cavity to improve dental smile by Dr Barun Kant Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). Dental cavity is caused by decaying of the tooth by food lodgement. Dental cavity usually appears brown or black in colour. Myth about dental cavity is only eating food or drink cause dental caries are wrong. There are various reasons for it including genetic, crooked teeth, bad oral hygiene, medically compromised conditions like diabetes mellitus etc. dental caries if present in anterior teeth compromises dental smile. So, to improve it root canal treatment followed by dental crown or dental bridge is gold standard treatment for it. Here a dental patient came to our dental clinic located in Ranchi to improve his smile. We evaluated clinically and also took dental radiographs. On examination we found a dental cavity encroaching dental pulp. Regular dental filling is best dental treatment when caries do not involve dental pulp. But in this case as shown caries involved pulp. So, we planned for root canal treatment followed by a joint dental crown or dental bridge. Some dentists prefer composite dental filling instead of dental bridge in this case. But composite dental filling is not permanent dental treatment. So, we planted a joint dental crown here. Apart from hiding discoloured teeth it also fills the gap between two teeth also known as midline diastema. Cost of root canal treatment in our dental clinic is 2500 rupees. Dental crown charges may vary.

Today’s topic is fix denture teeth or dant ka fix treatment by Dr Barun Kant Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). Fixing denture teeth is a good treatment option for those who have missing natural teeth. Dant ka doctors usually perform conventional fix dental treatment by tooth preparation of adjacent healthy teeth or teeth. After this dentist usually matches the shade of natural teeth adjacent to teeth being replaced. Finally, the impression is made of upper and lower arches. But before initiation of any dental treatment oral prophylaxis in the form of ultrasonic teeth cleaning and dental polishing must be done. Reason behind performing oral prophylaxis is to maintain good oral hygiene to have a good success rate of fixing denture teeth. There are different types of fix teeth like conventional fix denture teeth and second is dental implant retained fix teeth. Dental implants retained are also a good alternative for replacement of missing teeth. Conventional fix denture teeth are made from a variety of dental material including full metal dental bridge, porcelain fused to metal or pfm dental bridge and last is non-metallic or zirconia dental bridge. Selection of dental material for fix denture teeth or fix dant ka treatment usually depends on several factors including area of missing teeth, cosmetic value for the patient, economical status of the patient, tooth preparation required, bruxism habits etc. Fix Dant ka treatment helps in chewing and improves patient dental smile

Today’s topic is the cost of dental implant treatment in Ranchi by Dr Barun Kant Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). Cost of single dental implant treatment in Ranchi may vary from 20000 to 50000 rupees with prosthesis. Full mouth dental implant cost may vary from 100000 to 200000 rupees. Our dental clinic in Ranchi charges 150000 for a complete fixed full mouth dental implant with prosthesis. There are several other charges which may vary and include consultation charge, dental x-rays, blood test, bone graft, sinus lift procedure, nerve repositioning, dental extraction and medication prescribed. Dental implants are emerging as the biggest change for replacement of missing teeth. Dental patients are also nowadays aware of the advantages of dental implants and include high success rate, no cutting of adjacent healthy teeth as done in conventional fixed partial dentures. The Real challenge is searching for the dant ka doctor or dentist in Ranchi for dental implant placement. We recommend prosthodontist for dental implant treatment as compared to other specialist dental doctors like periodontist or oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Reason behind is people want dental prosthesis either fixed teeth or removable teeth. They don’t come to the dental clinic for performing dental surgery like drilling for placing dental implants. Specialist dental doctor for fabrication of dental prosthesis is maxillofacial prosthodontist and luckily Dr Barun Kant owned our dental clinic in Ranchi.

Today’s topic is teeth whitening or ultrasonic teeth cleaning by Dr Barun Kant Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk).
Teeth whitening is a procedure done to make your teeth appear whiter in colour. Dental patients are more attracted to this treatment modality as it improves patient appearance during speaking and smiling. Also, more advertisements you will find for this treatment. There are basically two types of teeth whitening procedure and includes in office tooth whitening and at home teeth bleaching technique. Apart from these other techniques with minor results include tooth whitening paste, whitening strips, charcoal teeth whitening, laser whitening etc. Cost of teeth whitening may vary and is around 4000 to 7000 rupees in Ranchi. Case selection is very important for performing the procedure. Teeth bleaching is another term used for it.
Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is another procedure used to clean your teeth from stains and calculus. Price for teeth cleaning only is around 800 and with polishing includes 1300. Oral prophylaxis is a broader term used for ultrasonic teeth cleaning and polishing done together. It is usually recommended for patients with tobacco stains, bleeding gums, halitosis or bad smell etc. This is the first procedure done before dental bleaching procedure. And in my opinion almost 90 percent of patients are satisfied with this procedure only. Overall ultrasonic teeth cleaning is a little bit more economical than bleaching or teeth whitening procedure.

Today’s topic is the Root Canal Treatment or RCT by endodontist in Ranchi by Dr Barun Kant Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk).
Root canal treatment is basically dental filling done from the coronal to apical portion of the tooth. Generally, in short, this treatment is regarded as rct. Nowadays it is a very common dental treatment done in dental clinics. Both general dentist and endodontist perform root canal treatment. It can be single sitting or multiple sitting. Single appointment root canal treatment or rct is performed in intentional or planned rct. Multiple appointment rct is done in more complicated or chronic cases. Root canal treatment costs vary from 2000 to 10000 depending on dental clinic and dentist performing dental treatment. We are charging rupees 2500 for root canal treatment or rct.
A patient came to our dental clinic with extreme pain in the lower left side mouth. On examination we found root canal treatment or rct is done by a dentist somewhere else. Dental radiograph depicts curved root of lower left third molar. Tooth root is extremely curving so dental filling has not been done till apex. As a result, the patient is suffering from dental pain. Since it was done by a general dentist instead of an endodontist who is a specialized doctor for root canal treatment. But my opinion doesn't make any difference. The only requirement is to follow the treatment protocol. Dental extraction planned due to curved roots. General dentists and endodontists can do rct.

Today's Topic is Understanding Tooth Mobility: A blog post about the causes, symptoms, and treatments for tooth mobility caused by trauma to the maxillofacial region by Dr Barun Kant Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). A patient came to our dental clinic. His chief complaint is an unpleasant look in the lower anterior region of the mouth. He is suffering from Parkinson’s disease. The clinical symptoms include weak neuromuscular control of the body leading to involuntary movement of the body. The real challenge in such a case includes maintaining patients to sit still during treatment. He visited a dental clinic for the first time. The cause of mobility here is weakening of gums and resorption of bone surrounding the lower anterior region. Alveolar bone loss is prominent along with periapical radiolucency.Understanding symptoms of tooth mobility as shown includes bone loss, apical positioning of gums, deposit of plaque and calculus, mild pain in lower anterior region and bleeding of gums. The main symptoms is movement of teeth in mesiodistal, buccolingual or coronal apical direction. There are different treatment options for tooth mobility. Splinting of teeth, through oral prophylaxis, sometimes root canal treatment, and if all the above failed then extraction of teeth. The patient was finally convinced on extraction of lower incisors and fixed dental prosthesis from lower canine in the third quadrant to lower canine in the fourth quadrant.

Today's Topic is fixed partial denture for artificial replacement of missing tooth or teeth by Dr Barun Kant Dental Smile Clinic (Firayalal Chowk). There are situations where patients lost teeth due to various reasons including dental cavity, accidents, teeth in proximity of vital structure involving tumours etc. Milk teeth become mobile and replaced by more strong permanent teeth. But any reason involving loss of permanent teeth will not be replaced. Edentulous dental patients either partial or complete create multiple problems. Patient cannot chew properly. Furthermore, the patient's face looks more older if loss is at an early age of life. Due to such problems encountered our dentist suggests conventional fixed partial denture or dental implant for people having missing teeth. In this case as seen in the photo the patient has lost the lower left first molar. So, a few years back he replaced his missing tooth with a fixed partial denture. Material used was nickel chrome alloy along with dental porcelain. The type of teeth is called porcelain fused to metal dental bridge. But at present it became a faulty prosthesis. Our dentist recommends better fixed partial dentures with a warranty covering 15 years. Material used is cobalt chrome along with dental porcelain which is very biocompatible to the human body. The technique used in making prosthetics is CAD CAM.

Cavities, cracks, or fractures can be repaired with cosmetic dental fillings, also known as tooth-colored fillings or composite fillings. Cosmetic fillings, in contrast to traditional amalgam fillings made of silver and mercury, are made of a composite material that matches your teeth's natural color. We'll talk about the advantages of cosmetic dental fillings, how to get them, and how to take care of your newly restored teeth in this blog.
Benefits of Cosmetic Dental Fillings
The fact that cosmetic dental fillings are virtually undetectable is one of their primary advantages. This means that you won't have to tell anyone that you've had work done to restore your teeth. Additionally, composite fillings can help to strengthen the tooth and stop further decay by bonding directly to the tooth structure.
In comparison to traditional amalgam fillings, cosmetic dental fillings require less healthy tooth structure to be removed. This means that your dentist will be able to keep more of your natural tooth structure, which can help keep your teeth strong and healthy.
The process of getting a cosmetic dental filling typically involves the following steps:
1) A numbing agent: Your dentist will numb the area around the tooth before the filling can be put in to prevent any discomfort.
2) Eliminating the rot: Any decayed or damaged tooth material will be removed by your dentist using a drill or laser.
3) Applying the material for the fill: Your dentist will use a special light to harden each layer of the composite filling material before applying the next one.
4) forming the filling and polishing it: Your dentist will shape and polish the filling material to match the natural contours of your tooth once it is in place.

The dental cavity is the topic of the day. Dental cavities are a common dental problem that affects millions of people worldwide. They are small holes or openings in the teeth that can lead to tooth decay, pain, and other complications if left untreated. In this blog, we will discuss what dental cavities are, what causes them, and how they can be treated and prevented.
What are Dental Cavities?
Dental cavities, also known as dental caries, are the result of tooth decay. They are caused by a combination of factors, including bacteria, sugary foods, and poor dental hygiene. When bacteria in the mouth combine with food particles and saliva, they produce an acid that attacks the tooth enamel, causing it to weaken and eventually break down. Over time, the cavity becomes larger, and if left untreated, it can lead to infection, tooth loss, and other complications.
What Causes Dental Cavities?
There are several factors that contribute to the development of dental cavities. The most common causes include:
Poor Oral Hygiene: If you don't brush and floss regularly, food particles and bacteria can build up in your mouth, leading to the formation of cavities.
Sugary and Acidic Foods: Foods and drinks that are high in sugar and acid can erode the tooth enamel, making it more susceptible to decay.
Dry Mouth: Saliva helps to neutralize the acid in your mouth, so if you have a dry mouth, you may be at a higher risk of developing cavities.
Genetics: Some people are more prone to cavities than others due to genetic factors.
Age: As you get older, your teeth become weaker and more susceptible to decay.
How are Dental Cavities Treated?
The treatment for dental cavities depends on the severity of the cavity. If caught early, the cavity can be treated with a filling. During a filling procedure, the dentist will remove the decayed area of the tooth and fill it with a composite resin material that matches the color of your teeth. This will help to restore the tooth's function and prevent further decay.
If the cavity is more severe, the dentist may recommend a crown. A crown is a cap that is placed over the tooth to protect it from further decay. It is usually made of porcelain or ceramic and can last for many years.
In some cases, a root canal may be necessary to treat a cavity. A root canal is a procedure that involves removing the infected pulp from the tooth and filling it with a special material to prevent further infection. This procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia and can be completed in one or two visits to the dentist.
If the cavity is too severe, the tooth may need to be extracted. This is usually a last resort and is only done if the tooth cannot be saved.
How can Dental Cavities be Prevented?
Preventing dental cavities starts with good oral hygiene. Here are some tips to help you keep your teeth healthy and cavity-free:
Brush twice a day: Brush your teeth at least twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste. This will help to remove food particles and bacteria from your teeth and prevent cavities.
Floss daily: Flossing helps to remove food particles and bacteria from between your teeth, where your toothbrush can't reach.
Limit sugary and acidic foods: Foods and drinks that are high in sugar and acid can erode the tooth enamel, making it more susceptible to decay. Try to limit your intake of these foods and drinks.
Use fluoride: Fluoride is a mineral that helps to strengthen tooth enamel and prevent cavities. You can get fluoride from your toothpaste, mouthwash, and drinking water.
Visit the dentist regularly: Regular dental checkups and cleanings can help to prevent cavities. Please Visit Our Clinic

A multidisciplinary approach known as "smile design" entails the collaboration of a number of dental specialists, such as prosthodontists, orthodontists, and cosmetic dentists, in order to develop a customized treatment plan that addresses a patient's distinct dental requirements and objectives. The creation of a smile that is not only functional, comfortable, and healthy is the objective of smile design.
The Smile Design Process
A comprehensive dental exam, which includes a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and jawbone, is the first step in the process of designing your smile. To assess your dental health and discover any underlying issues that need to be addressed, the dentist will take digital x-rays, photographs, and other images of your teeth and facial features.
The dentist will collaborate with you to create a customized treatment plan that meets your needs once they have a clear understanding of your dental health and objectives. This could include veneers, dental implants, orthodontics, teeth whitening, or a combination of these procedures.
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a well-liked cosmetic procedure that can brighten your smile and get rid of stains from tobacco, coffee, red wine, and tea. At-home whitening, in which custom-made trays are filled with the whitening gel and worn for a predetermined amount of time each day, or in-office whitening, in which a special light is used to activate the whitening gel, may be suggested by the dentist.
Orthodontics
The treatment of crooked teeth and jaws is the primary focus of orthodontics, a subfield of dentistry. Improve your bite, close gaps, and straighten crooked teeth with braces, clear aligners, and other orthodontic appliances. Depending on the complexity of your case, orthodontic treatment can take anywhere from a few months to a few years.
Veneers
In order to enhance the appearance of your teeth, veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are bonded to their front surfaces. Various cosmetic issues, such as gaps, discoloration, chipped or cracked teeth, and gaps, can be fixed with veneers. They are made of porcelain or composite resin, and with proper care, they can last for a long time.
Dental Implants
For the purpose of supporting a crown or bridge, dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are inserted into your jawbone. Because they look and function like natural teeth, implants are a popular treatment for missing teeth. They can also help keep your face in shape and prevent jaw bone loss.
The Benefits of Smile Design
Your overall quality of life can be significantly impacted by your smile design. A beautiful smile can improve your social and professional relationships, your physical health, and your self-confidence. Smiling people are thought to be more attractive, self-assured, and successful than those who don't, according to studies.
Smile design can improve your oral health as well as your appearance by addressing underlying dental issues and lowering your risk of gum disease, tooth decay, and other dental issues.
Conclusion
Smile design is the art of creating beautiful smiles that not only look great but also function well. Through a personalized treatment plan that may include teeth whitening, orthodontics, veneers, or dental implants, smile design can transform your smile and improve your overall quality of life

Our dentist has different techniques and tools that can be used to clean your teeth. The first step is to use an instrument called a scraper to remove any plaque or food buildup. Next, we'll use an ultrasonic scaler to remove the surface layer of plaque. Finally, we'll use a fluoride gel to help strengthen your teeth and protect against cavities. Please Visit Our Clinic

Orthodontic braces done by our orthodontist are a common treatment option for patients who want to improve the appearance of their teeth. They are typically used to straighten crooked teeth, as well as correct bite problems. The braces are made from metal or plastic and are attached to the teeth with a wire that is attached to a bracket on the outside of the mouth. In most cases, they are worn full time, although some patients may wear them only at night. The brackets need to be replaced every few months, and in most cases, patients need to take them out for meals. Please Visit Our Clinic
